Hola

THE GROUP HAS ARRIVED SAFELY IN EL SALVADOR - CHECK UPDATES! FOR MORE...

Greetings,
This website is designed primarily for parents and friends of Carolina Friends School students spending their 2008 End Of Year experience in La Isla, El Salvador (Saturday, May 17 - Monday, June 2) and will be updated a couple of times weekly. Below on this page, I will post pictures of the group as we go along. For a blog with updates that I will post (and email), just click on the "Updates!" tab above. With the blog, you all will be able to post your comments after each of my own entries and keep in touch with one another that way. I will also try to anticipate our schedule - to the extent that such a thing is possible here - and update the page "Schedule" above with our plans. I hope this is useful. For parents, you can always feel free to email me with any information that you may need or with an email you would like me to print out and bring to your student although I will not be checking email more than 2-3 times a week.

It is a pleasure for me to be able to return to such an extraordinary community and to do so with your students. Thank you so much for that privilege.

Saludos,
Rob, CFS '05

EMERGENCY CONTACT NUMBER IN EL SALVADOR, Cesar(Community Leader of La Isla, speaks English and usually within shouting distance of me): ((011*)) (503**) 7732.8331

*With the service of many telephone companies, you often need to dial 011 to dial out of the United States.
** El Salvador's country code is 503 and it is almost always necessary to dial it unless you are calling from an internet phone company such as Skype, in which case you'll be able to select the country you are calling from a drop-down menu and then just dial, 7732.8331.
